Various Fossil and Waste Fuel Plants

Client: Riley Power, a Babcock Power Inc. Company

Riley Power, part of the Business Services Unit of Babcock Power Inc., has been designing and manufacturing fuel firing equipment and steam generators for all types of fossil fired and waste fuel fired plants for over 90 years. The company also offers a full compliment of SCR systems and Scrubbers for all types of fuels. As complete environmental control solutions, these systems are focused on providing the end user with a clean and efficient electricity source. For the past several years, PV has provided inspection services for the manufacturing of SCRs for various power plants worldwide.  PV was involved with fabrication inspection for over 6 million pounds of steel fabrication and provided expediting services.


Various Heat Recovery Steam Generators

Client: Vogt Power International Inc.

Vogt Power International specializes in the design, manufacturing and supply of Heat Recovery Steam Generators (HRSGs) and aftermarket related services. Over the past several years, PV has provided supplier quality representation for the manufacturing and installation of pressure retaining and non-pressure retaining components for more than 20 HRSGs for Vogt.



Three Gorges Dam

Client:  SNC Lavalin

Made of concrete, stretching approximately 2335 meters long and 185 meters high, Three Gorges Dam is the largest hydroelectric river dam in the world – five times the size of the Hoover Dam. PV provided inspection services to subcontractor SNC Lavalin, for the manufacturing of turbines and runners for this power generation project.
