Voisey’s Bay Nickel Project contains an integrated mine and concentrator facility located on the coast of Labrador. It is one of the world’s largest nickel mines, processing approximately 6000 tonnes of ore per day. During the construction phase of the facility, PV Inspection provided third party inspection and expediting services to major subcontractor SNC Lavalin, and provided site safety and QA/QC representation to the Cherubini Group. PV also provides inspection support services to SNC Lavalin for several aluminum mining and smelting upgrades and expansions in Africa and Canada.

Based in Cuba, MOA Nickel S.A is a partnership between the government of the Republic of Cuba, and Toronto-based Sherritt International Corporation. For the past six years, PV has been providing inspection, expediting and other technical support services to MOA Nickel for their mine project operations in both North and South America.

Located 220 kilometers north of Yellowknife, Snap Lake is Canada’s first fully underground diamond mine and DeBeers’ first mine outside of Africa. PV Inspection performed inspection and expediting services for major subcontractor AMEC, on behalf of DeBeers.
