Owned by NuStar LP (formally Valero L.P.), Statia Terminal is of the largest terminal and independent petroleum liquids pipeline operators in North America, and one of the largest of its kind in the world. This facility provides petroleum and chemical storage services as well as marine bunkers in Point Tupper, NS. PV has an ongoing relationship with this client, providing API certification for all on-site storage tanks, and main liquid lines in the facility. PV also maintains certification on all plant lifting and material handling equipment. PV has also provided inspection services for jetty surveys, fender damage and utility lines at these transshipment facilities in both Canada and the Caribbean.

Client: Department of Transport, Government of Nova Scotia
PV provided third party inspection services during the fabrication and installation phases of several bridge sections throughout the Province of Nova Scotia. PV is also a
a long term provider of coating inspections for several bridges throughout Nova Scotia.
 Angus L. MacDonald Bridge – Third lane expansion project
Client: Halifax-Dartmouth Bridge Commission (HDBC)
PV provided inspection services for the full scope of this $44 million expansion. Customized solutions involved specialized inspection techniques for partial penetration welds, and NACE coating inspection and construction supervision. PV provides ongoing support to the HDBC for construction and upgrade projects to the Angus L. MacDonald Bridge and the A. Murray Mackay Bridge, the two suspension bridges that cross Halifax Harbour. These services are provided as part of the HDBC’s larger support maintenance campaign.
